The Desert Nest Qatar Pavilion was created for the Floriade Expo 2022, a decadal International Horticultural Exhibition that celebrates horticulture and promotes sustainable urban solutions. Aligned with the Expo's theme of "Growing Green Cities".

Serving as a prototype for future building technologies and green urban environments, the Pavilion embodies sustainable construction practices by utilizing renewable energy and reclaimed materials. It features nature-inspired parametric design and adaptable landscapes, minimizing construction waste and negative impacts while incorporating advanced techniques like 3D printing.

In addition to the Pavilion, the site includes an exhibit of native Qatari plants and experiential garden spaces, all designed to create a lasting public attraction after the Expo concludes.

During the Holy month of Ramadan, we're reminded of the importance of sharing and giving. We took a moment to recognize and thank our incredible labor team - the unsung heroes who keep our production facility running 24/7. We shared a well-deserved Iftar and grocery boxes to express our gratitude for their hard work and dedication. In the spirit of togetherness, we build stronger bonds and show appreciation for one another in our work environment.

Winner of the Sustainability Award, the Experience Abu Dhabi stand at ATM showcased a forward-thinking approach to design where every detail reflected environmental responsibility. Designed and delivered by OP3 Global for our client, Abu Dhabi's Department of Culture and Tourism , the stand was built with recycled and locally sourced materials to minimize its carbon footprint, while modular components allowed for reuse in future events.

Energy-efficient LED lighting, water-based paints, and eco-certified finishes reduced waste and emissions, and smart construction techniques ensured minimal impact during setup and dismantling. This thoughtful integration of culture and conscious innovation not only celebrated Abu Dhabi’s rich heritage but also demonstrated how world-class experiences can be created with a deep respect for the planet.
